Purpose: To create fun connection-interactions and singing together.
Pre-teach: March combo – You can pre-teach during the intro. It’s 30 seconds of music. Ok everybody this is the YMCA, we are going
to start all facing 1 direction together. Have them do it with you.
We march 8 then ¼ turn to right (young man), March 8 and ¼ turn right (young man), March 8 with 6 poses (facing back).
We repeat this again until we face the front. Then after the 6 poses you will pump 5 times. Then you will know what to do.
We will do the YMCA 2xs together. Then a big step and clap till you find someone to do the YMCA 2xs together.
First move: March combo – Let’s march 8, chest up, strong arms, confident. ¼ turn, March 8, ¼ turn, March 8 and here come those 6
poses.
March 8 again, ¼ turn, March 8, ¼ turn, March 8, 6 poses now pump 5xs. All together show me the YMCA.
Second move: YMCA step clap combo. First one faces front. Now big step and clap and find a friend now do the YMCA with them,
Step clap and find a new friend.
Put some energy in it. Dance it!
