Purpose: Strength and function movement and to be playful
First Move: Shovel and throw. Tell your participants to pretend holding a shovel in their
hands. You shovel and you throw over your shoulder.
Invite them to change arms when they shovel. All different directions. The ground is
pretty solid and hard, so you have to shovel with energy, show me how hard the
ground is?
Bend your knees and use your whole body when you shovel.
Second move: Swing your shovel over your shoulder with a lazy walk and wipe the sweat
off your brow.
Tell them, time for a little break.. you are soooo tired, wipe the sweat and lazy walk
around.. get ready to shovel again.
This song just goes back and forth. verse-chorus. Super playful and fun.
