Purpose: To warm up the body and mobilise shoulders and upper back.

First Move: Circle your arms twice and then go somewhere new in the room. See if you can add softness when you circle your arms. And make this your own dance. How can you dance your circles? How can you dance as you walk? This song is light, carefree and really soft – so see how you can let that inspire how you dance it. Go somewhere new. Somewhere you haven’t been yet. You can even put a big smile on your face and see what that feels like.

Allow your whole body to dance as you circle your arms and travel. Play with how you open your arms and let your entire body move with it. Express it so it feels good in your body. You can even sing along to ‘wonderful world’, just try it out. You can only get this right, so show me how you dance your arms up and open. Your way is the right way.

Second Move: Walk. Soft and light. Every now and then try to turn as you walk. Now dance your walk. Travel through the space with lightness. Relaxed and carefree. Can you add your arms as you dance? Maybe your head? How can you make this dance walk feel really good and yummy right now?

Be gentle with your body and allow your dance to massage your body – moving your shoulders, arms, hips and head as you travel through the space. You can’t get it wrong – simply allow your body to move to the music. Listen to the song and let it inspire how you dance it.

This is a great song for warm up or as a recovery.
