Purpose & Focus: Contact and Interaction, Ankle mobility

This is a verse/chorus Groove. Make sure your participants (seated ones) are sitting on the edge of their chair to maximize the moves. The intro is a little crazy so get your participants to bring their arms up and over their head. Start with a toe heel march. Remind them this is great for ankle mobility. Add the arms.

On the chorus “Get by with a little help…” ask your Groovers to plant their feet and start reaching for someone. Reach for someone else. Reach across. Make eye contact with each other. Encourage them to really extend their arms.

Then back to the toe heel movement at 0:43. Remind them to get their arms swinging with the toe heel.
At 0:59 (the chorus) back to extending the arms and reaching making eye contact with their friends. Encourage them to use their entire upper body in the reach.
At 1:12 Open the arms as big as you can extending from the heart then hands on your heart. This action happens x2. Look at each other when they open the arms up.
At 1:30 back to your toe heel march.
At 1:46 back to arm reach motion.
At 1:59 Open the arms as big as you can then hands on your heart. This action happens x2
Reaching until the end of the song.

A great interaction!
