Focus: External
Purpose: To connect through passing through and grabbing hands
Pre-Teach: Take a moment to have them practice the hand pull-through so they are comfortable with it when it comes. Always giving an option not to do it if they aren’t comfortable. You are going to reach your hand out, take someone’s hand and pull through, then take the next hand. Let it be fun and don’t take it too seriously.
First move: Strong March. We’ll start with a strong march. Knees up. Arms. Smiling at each other. Proud. Confident, chest up, make it a little jolly. (This part is super short so you don’t have much time for options, just keep them connected to a strong march.) Go different directions. Then stay OTS with your march and face a new way. Strong and confident. For more cardio, get those knees up a little higher. I can’t do it for you!
Second move: Fast Feet. Relaxed. Lots of speed. Here we go. Fast, fast, fast.
Third move: Shuffle (123, 123) with Pass Through. Shuffle. Reach for someone. If you miss someone, that’s OK. Reach those arms out. Try to find someone across the room. Smiles. YES! The hand that’s not reaching is out and up so you can find a new hand. Yes, shuffle. Through each other. Finding someone new. Continually in motion. Don’t worry if you miss someone, just keep reaching your arm out to connect.
