Purpose: To create connections and interactions on the dance floor

Pre-Teach: In this song we will be greeting each other and wishing each other a merry Christmas with our body language. So right now, turn to the person next to you and either bow or curtsy – and give them all of your loving attention as you do so. For the next minute we will be dancing from person to person, greeting them and exploring different ways of bowing and curtsying every time. Merry Christmas!

First move: Bow or Curtsy. Turn to the person closest to you and bow or curtsy. Give that person in front of you all of your attention. Now walk to someone new and try to bow or curtsy in a new way. Dance your way to new a person every single time. You can smile or put your hands on your heart – show the person in front of you that you wish them the best Christmas. Keep your walk light and soft as we are warming up the body. Is there someone you haven’t greeted yet? Have you tried turning as you dance your way to a new friend? Allow yourself to dance as you walk and dance as you bow and curtsy – explore elegance and softness in your expression. See what it feels like to smile as you meet people. How can you make it feel good in your body?

Transition:
Same move throughout the whole song.
