Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: Yes, the knees in&out, and the two poses.
Focus: External
Purpose: To increase heart rate and mobilize hip joint

This song is all about confidence, attitude and personality. It’s bluesy and cool.
There are three moves in the song that all fit throughout, so you decide when you want to transition between the three moves.

Pre-Teach: Show them the knees-in-and-out and have them do it with you. Coach for knees bend and getting up on the tip-toes to make the move easier. Show them how to play with the tempo and how to travel it.
Inform them that there is a break in song where they will pose twice – you can do it with them by telling them ‘321-pose!’, and then ‘change your pose’. Just so they know what is coming.

First move: is step-&-kick. Connect them to the rhythm – step-kick, step-kick. Then invite them to travel the room using all directions and levels. Invite kicking in different directions and different heights.

Second move: is peppy, bouncy 123-123. Connect people to the rhythm and emphasize the bounciness in the step. Coach for whole use of room, turns and full body dancing.

Third move: is knees-in-&-out. Tell them to bend their knees and get up on the toes, and dance it with crazy legs. Play with directions, lots of attitude and getting their whole body in the dance.

Transitions:
You can switch between the moves as you want, the only thing you need to nail is the break with the two poses at 1:54.
