Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No
Focus: External
Purpose: To increase heart rate and mobilise hips and lower spine.

First move: step-kick. Listen to the song and start to kick-kick-kick-kick. Explore how you can kick in different directions and play with kicking in different levels as well. It’s 60’s, it’s peppy, carefree, little flirty and jazzy. As you kick, start to travel the room – moving in different directions: backwards, sideways and turning. Move into the open spaces on the dance floor and explore the whole space. If you feel like it you can add a jump!
Add your arms and hands to the dance – little cute flicks as you kick.
You can give a little wink or smile as you pass a fellow groover. I want to see you dancing the kicks with your whole body involved – what does that look like? The way you wanna dance it is the right way!
Is there anywhere in the room you haven’t been yet? Have you tried turning yet? Don’t forget to let your arms dance!

Second move: twist. Now bend your knees a bit and start to twist! You’ve got this – listen to the music and let it inspire how you dance it!
Move your hips, your chest, your arms, your head, your shoulders – how can you make your whole body dancing? Show me and how fun with it.
Make your spine feel good!
You can twist with the person next to you.
What does your face look like when you twist to this song?
It’s possible to lift up one leg as you twist.
Maybe you want to travel as you twist?
What can you do right now to make it feel good?
Sing a long if you want!
Your way is the right way – dance it with all your style and personality. No one can dance it like you!

Pre-Enseñar: No
Enfoque: Externo
