Pre-Teach: the melt and lift
Focus: Internal
Purpose: To warm up or cool down the body, focus on moving the body down and up for the one time melting move
First move Slow motion shape on the spot for 4 counts and walk for 4 counts. This whole song is that one move, only interrupted with the second move repeated once.
Tell them to softly dance their shape. Invite them to try making the shapes slightly different every time, using different levels, using their whole body, being playful and creative with it.
They could even try balancing on one leg. If they are able to listen to the lyrics, they might be inspired In the way they move.
Second move is a melt down and lift up. Stay on the spot and slowly melt down towards the floor, and then slowly lift up again before returning to the first time.
