Purpose: to start to build the class or start to chill it out.
First move: Slow-quick-quick. You’ll hear the rhythm. Slow-quick-quick. Slow-quick-quick. Once you have that rhythm, start to add a cool little arm with the slow. Yes. Keep it cool. Chilled out. Try some different directions, like backwards or a turn with that rhythm. You’re too blessed to be stressed so let’s see you dance it that way! Let’s see those arms. Get your whole body moving. Add your style and personality. Do it your way, that’s the best way.
Second move: Dance-walk. Put the beat in your feet and dance your walk. Add some arms. Change directions now and then. Keep it chilled and cool. Your own style. Get your arms to dance it too. Even your head is moving. You can’t get this wrong. Just add your own style and personality. Chilled out and cool. Explore all of your directions. Backwards. Side ways. Add turns now and then. Just do it with personality and style. You can smile at people as they go by. But see if you can get your whole body dancing while you walk. .
Third move: OTS-Arm-Circles. Where you are, show me your dramatic arms. A bit of a pose. Yes, now walk somewhere new. Do it again. Now move to a new spot. With confidence…you’re too blessed, right?! New spot. That’s it. Tell someone. Sing it if you want, “I’m too blessed to be stressed.” You are too cool and too blessed to be stressed.
