Purpose: To increase heart rate and get people interacting on the dance floor

First move: Slow heel.Take your heel and connect to the beat: heel-heel. Now add that country/cowboy style in your own way: you can hold on to your cowboy hat, put your thumb in your belt or give me a yeehaw. Show me YOUR way of dancing it.
Can you travel it? Can you dance it backwards? Or turn it?
Is it possible to move your head while you dance?

Second move: Fast heels. Now pick up the pace and go faster. If that’s not available to you, stay with the slow heels. Make sure it feels good in your body! How can you dance it cowboy style? You can’t get it wrong, I promise!
Give yourself permission to go a little crazy as you dance your heels.
Can I get a ‘YEEEHAAW!’?
Put a smile on your face and have a PARTY in your body!

Third move: 123-123. Now bend your knees a little and give me a country shuffle: 123-123. Or as if you are on your horse galloping through the space!
Be mindful of each other as you travel the room.
Can you change directions? Can you add your arms?
No one cares what you look like – have fun as you dance it!
Allow yourself to be playful. Let’s have a party in our body!

Fourth move: Swing your partner. Lock elbows with the person next to you and give each other a good swing – make sure you keep it nice and safe! Change directions!
Find a new partner and swing each other! Change directions!
Make sure that it feels good in your body – if you feel dizzy, take a break.
