Adult Advanced Facilitator 2
Pre-Teach: yes, only the 6 walks & 2 jumps
Focus: external
Purpose: To lubricate hip joints and increase heart rate
First move: Start with the knee drop, on the spot. Get them into the rhythm. When they get comfortable with that you can invite them to travel the knee drop, adding movement with arms and head and dancing it.
Cool and relaxed.
Second move: Hold it when the music drops. “Show me a little rock star knee” (or heel or shoulder, whatever) putting style and personality into it and rocking out faster as the music builds.
Third Move: when the beat drops… Walk 6 jump 2. Continue with this combo until the music reverts back to a slower/softer tempo.
Back to the knee drop when the music is softer. Really dance your knee drop, especially when the beat kicks in more adding lots of style and moving with relaxed arms and head.
When the slow part kicks in again, back to rock star, however you want to interpret it. Repeat 6 walks 2 jumps and so on.
Lots of high energy, style and personality in this song. You may want to invite connection/interaction with someone on the 2 jumps.
Transitions:
0:00 knee drop
0:41 rock star
1:03 6 walks, 2 jumps
1:27 knee drop
2:06 rock star
2:33 6 walks, 2 jumps
2:57 knee drops
