Purpose: To relax the body and allow time for recovery, or to prepare for more activity
First move: Start with a gentle sway side to side. Soft, relaxed. Breathe. Delicate. Relaxed.
Second move: Arms. You’ll just add your arms to the sway. These are soft, flowy arms. Take them all around your body. Explore and find new places to flow with your arms. Now let your arms dance around your body. You can’t get this wrong. Just allow your body to move so it feels good.
Third move: Snap. The arms keep flowing, but we’re adding a little snap. Keep exploring the space around your body. Try playing with levels. There’s above you and below you. You can even travel with that snap. Let your whole body dance while you’re snapping.
Fourth move: Arms 4 / Walk 8. Soft arms for 4, then walk 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Soft. Travel. Gentle with the arms. Create 4 beautiful soft arm accents and walk to a new place. Show me how beautifully you can intentionally create those arms movements, then walk somewhere new, but dance your walk, let your arms flow around your body. Let your body be expressive. Lots of breath. Do it in a way that feel delicious in your body. Explore all the directions. Lovely. Soft, beautiful arms. Keep dancing it in some gentle way. You can’t get it wrong, do it with your style and essence.
