Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No
Focus: External
Purpose: Robotic movement, spatial awareness

First move: Robotic walk. Ask your students to begin walking on the beat with straight robotic legs,
eventually get their arms to make robotic shapes as they move around the space.
Eventually ask them to add their full torso in this movement with their legs still being straight. Changing directions while staying on the beat.

Second move: Cross open robot. First you might want to teach this slow. Once you see they have the movement, speed it up.
You can also invite them to change directions with this move, facing a different wall each time.
Third move: Wave and freeze. Exploring the contrast between smooth and sharp movements.
Making these movements with their arms invite different levels and creative options.

Transitions:
There’s no specific time to go back and forth in this song, Move between the three moves as you see fit.
