Purpose: To cool down the body through soft expressive dancing
First move: Slow Walk. Listen to the soft beat and connect to it by walking slowly – walk, walk. Lift your arms and let them move softly as you walk. Expressive and gentle.
Give yourself permission to keep your focus internal.
Can you walk sideways or backwards?
Listen to the song and let it inspire how you move.
Let your arms dance, exploring the space around your body. Passionately, softly and gently.
Can your upper body move with it too?
Trust that your way is the right way. Dance it in a way that feels good to you.
Second move: Arms lift and lower. Stay on the spot and lift your arms to the sky. Softly lower them down again. Stand tall and let your whole body be part of the movement. Lift your chest, breathe with it. Lift your arms again and let your head move too – look up. Softly and gently let your arms float down.
You cannot get it wrong. Do it in your own way. Dance it your way.
Third move: Hands on heart – soft sway. Gently place your hands on your heart. Close your eyes if that’s available to you. You can stand or softly sway with the music. Add your breath.
