Purpose: To raise serotonin and endorphin levels to increase happiness and outlook. Sing and connect with each other.
Intro: Invite them to bow and curtsy, This is the sound of music, get ready to perform.
First move: Walk 4 and Yodel 4. Chest up walk 4 and let your arms swing. Now OTS spot and act like you are yodeling.
Smile, swing your arms, lift your chest, shoulders back. Like you are a grand performer.
Go a different direction each time. Add your personal style and pizzazz.
You can yodel out loud if you know it. Let yourself be ridiculous. Play the role.
Can you walk to someone and yodel with them? Walk 1234, now Yodel your best.
Be playful and have fun with it.
Second move: Skip or 123 123 shuffle – option to swing your partner or Swing Partner in the longer section. Now skip or shuffle, let it be youthful and energetic. Make it lighthearted and playful. You can even swing a partner.
Explore all your directions. You can’t get it wrong. Do it your way.
The more playful you are the more fun it is.
Third move: OTS Yodeling. Now stay on the spot and do your best performance of yodeling. Lift your chest and act like you are the best yodeler in the world. Use your arms to express and be over-the-top with it.
