Pre-Teach: Yes, third move
Focus: External
Purpose: Connecting to falling notes in the music, connection and balance
Pre-teach the third move f balancing with a partner. Emphasize that you hold hands gently and help each other balance while exploring the lifted leg.
First move: Play Piano from high to low. Start with connecting to the piano melody that falls from a high not to a lower note.
And layer this move as the song progresses.
First time you keep it on the spot. Explore hands separate, close together, crossing, in different places around the body. Keeping fingers soft and gentle.
The second time the move comes (0:53), try traveling while you are playing.
Second move: Skip across the floor in all directions! The third time this move comes, you skip with the partner you’ve balanced with.
After a while you can have them let go and skip alone until the piano returns
Third move: Find a partner and gently connect with one hand, balance on one leg and explore moving the other leg slowly.
Switch legs! Help each other keep balance!
