Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: Yes -the heel scuff
Focus: External and Internal
Purpose: Good song for warm up or cool down, fun playing with Greek style of dancing

This is a traditional folk Greek song so think proud, expressive and dramatic, oozing with emotion.

First Move: A heel scuff. Suggest that they dance with their arms and shoulders while doing the heel scuff.
Heads should also be up to reflect the proud theme to the song.

Second Move: Slow-Quick-Quick with very dramatic, expressive arms especially on the ‘slow’ element.
Again heads should be up high.

Finish off OTS at 2:48 with proud, magnificent poses!
