Purpose: To move all body parts and play with different rhythms.

First move: Easy-Dance-Walk. Start with a walk, walk, walk. Nice and easy dance walk. Add some arms and your head. Dance as you walk it. Traveling through the room. Exploring directions: backwards, sideways, turns. Super easy. Gentle. Smile at someone as you go by.

Second Move: 1-2-123. Here’s the 1-2-123. 1-2-123. Just play with this rhythm and keep exploring the space. Arms in it too. The beauty of this rhythm pattern is that you get to play with it in all directions. How playful can you get in your feet? You have to be light in your body to play in your feet.

Third Move: Slide-Clap. On the 4th one double. Slide, Slide, Slide, and double clap. Now take those claps new places. All around your body. Moving around each other. You know it now. So take those claps all around you. How creative can you get? You’ve got it! Play with those levels. High, low. How else can you clap your hands? On your body. With someone else. Who knows?! But don’t be afraid to play because you can’t get it wrong.

Fourth Move: Roll-Something. Any body part. Move from one body part to the next. Play with your levels. Keep it slow. Change up body parts and roll it out.
