Purpose: To warm up the body and explore a simple choreo pattern
This is a classic disco song. Great for all demographics. Everybody knows it.
Pre-Teach: OTS Roll the arms for 4 the point for 4 like John travolta. Make sure they do it with you. Let them know this comes in on the chorus. .
First move: Disco Walk – I want to see your best disco moves. Start to walk around the room, but do it disco style. Confidence and creativity. Use your arms.
Show them some options, but ultimately just let them dance it. Explore the space and all your directions.
Have fun dancing around each other and maybe with someone. Show me what you got.
Second move: Arm combo – Roll for 4 and point for 4. You will do this 4 times, on the last one you will just keep pointing. But like John Travolta.
See if you can face a different direction each time. Really dance it.
