Pre-Teach: Swing your partner: Ok everyone in this song we are going to “swing your partner”, so grab a partner and hook elbow to elbow and take a little spin, Let’s practice together. Now when i say “swing your partner” you know what to do.

First move: Walk. Put the beat in your feet and let’s walk. Chest up. Shoulders back. Don’t worry about dancing. Just walk. (the first walk is only 8 seconds so you can also, talk about the 1-2, 123 in the 8 counts. If you feel you need to review the 1-2 123, with your participants.) Explore all your directions. But keep your chest up and a smile on your face. How creatively can you walk around and through each other. Like a happy little walk in the park. Your own creative way. Have you gone backwards yet? Happy energy. Put your style and personality into it. Do it your way! Where else can you go in the room?

Second move: 1-2-1,2,3. Lifting up on that 1,2,3. Make it light and free. light in the feet. Can you use your arms? How creatively can you move through the space. 1-2-shuffle. 1-2-shuffle. Light and free. Just see what’s possible when you add your arms.. Put some energy in it. Flying through the room. i want to see your confidence and personality. Happy and carefree.

Third move: Swing Your Partner. Find someone and grab elbows. Change partners. Elbows and go around each other. Change partners. Keep changing partners. Find a new partner. That’s it! at the end of the song high five your partner.

Forth move: Slow walk. Slow it down, nice and easy, catch your breath, easy slow walk, but keep your chest up and your personality shining.
