Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No
Focus: internal
Purpose: to warm up and lubricate your body

This is a great warm up song but can also be used anytime depending on the style and flow of your class.

First move: It starts with a circulation/lubrication. Start OTS with knees soft, invite them to close their eyes or soften their gaze
towards the floor.
Encourage them to close their eyes or soften their gaze towards the floor.
Soften their knees and relax the shoulders, allow them a little bit of time just to connect to the music and the breath then invite
movement with the head.
Ask them to start adding movement with shoulders, chest…. Then arms, rib cage, spine…. Eventually adding hips, knees etc. Make
sure to remind them to DANCE IT, and make it feel really really good.
As the music continues invite them to use all the space around them, making the movement bigger.

Second move: Slow-Quick-Quick. Cue them that you’re going to teach them a rhythm. Slow, quick, quick. Keep them OTS as you cue
the rhythm.
Slow-Quick-Quick and invite them to put it into their bodies then ask them to travel it. It’s expressive, dramatic. Emphasizing and
expanding on the SLOW, but keeping it fluid.
Encourage them to take up space and to allow the music to move them.
