Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No
Focus: Both
Purpose: To release tension and explore meditative flow through soft movement

First move: Shaking. Start to listen to the song. Once you’re ready, start shaking. Relax your knees. Relax your hips. Allow your arms to hang nice and heavy.
Soft and relaxed body. Focus on your face for a bit and see if you can relax it too – your lips, eyebrows, jaw – allow your whole face to relax.
Connect to this beat as you shake your body. Slowly allow your body to dance this shake in your own unique way. Let your breath be relaxed.
Try to shake your arms and hands around your body. Play with your levels a little. Allow your shoulders to get in there. Maybe shake your head. Your hair. Shake your butt. Your hips.
Any other body parts you need to shake?
You can’t get it wrong – all you need to do is shake your body and make it feel good.
Feel free to add sound in some way if that feels good too – don’t be shy, don’t censor yourself – just open your mouth and release some sound.
You can travel it if you want.
What do you need to do to make it feel good?
Can you loosen and and soften your body even more?
Listen to the music and express this in your own way. No one cares what you look like.

Second move: Flowing. Pick up your arms and start to let them gently float all around your body. As if there were no gravity – light and soft.
Decorate the space around your body with your arm movement. There’s above you, below you, to the sides. One arm at a time or both.
Can you add your breath?
How can your arms dance?
Can you invite your spine to move too?
Have you tried using your levels yet?
Is your head moving?
Can you make your hands and fingers dance too?
Listen to the music and let it inspire how you move.
Go slow. Allow for softness in your entire body.
You can only get it right – move YOUR way.
