Pre-Teach:
First move: Slow Walk. Start with a cool, confident, interactive walk. Relax and act cool. Give it a little 60’s feel.
Add some attitude as you walk. Explore different directions. You can even point at someone as you walk past them.
Have you tried going backwards or sideways? Add you style and personality. Do it your way!
Second move: Tempo Walk. Now walk to the beat, walk, walk, walk, walk. Take up lots of space. Turns. How does your cook walk look?
I want to see your style and personality. Can you play with different directions?
You can walk around people, but be cool and confident. Show off your style and attitude.
Third move: OTS Fast Feet. Now stay OTS. and go fast fast fast. Little run OTS.
Fourth move: Pony. Now let’s pony, 1,2,3, 1,2,3. Let it be a little wild! Can you get your hair dancing. Give it some swank and pizzaz.
Its possible to change your direction. Put your style in it and dance it your way. Show me how your arms dance with your pony.
Fifth move: Twist. Stay OTS and twist. Can you get your whole body in your twist? Even your head can move.
Let your arms dance with your twist, but keep your style and confidence.
