Purpose: To warm up body and increase heart rate
You need to really study the moves and transitions in this song. It will take some practice but once you know it, it will be super easy!
First move: 60s walk or pony – Keep the pony small and bouncy as it is fast or the 60’s walk big and expressive as it is slower!
Encourage head movements, hair dancing and playful interactions!
Second move: two hips and shake the room (4th one has 3 hips) – OTS two hips side2side, then shake booty back with little hops.
This repeats 4x’s and on the fourth one you can do 3 hips to make it match the rhythm. Be sure they are using their arms on the two hips sort of striking poses.
They can shake shoulder and head as well!
Third move: walk and shake – This is a bit of a coordination exercise…walking and shaking your bootie is not easy.
Have fun with it, try it in different directions and you can also shake other body parts, but keep it sassy!
BREAK/Fourth move: double time sassy claps – OTS connect the claps to the fast rhythm and then with confident sassy attitude, dance those claps around your body and around your space.
Use all levels and get a little cocky too!
