First move: shake-4-walk-4. Shake your butt and walk for four. You can pump your hips back and forth, side to side, make your butt jiggle or wind it in circles! Travel the room and see what it feels like to travel backwards and sideways. Can you turn it as well?
Now add some style and personality and get GRITTY with it! That’s right, how gritty can you be? This song is dancehall – it’s naughty, dirty, flirty and confident. How can you let that inspire your dance?
Give yourself permission to be naughty and gritty in your expression – don’t worry about what it looks like – make it feel good and yummy to shake that ass! Let everything jiggle!
Can you make your butt move in a different way every time?
Have you tried lifting up one leg as you shake?
Now see if you can make your whole body dance as you shake and walk – that means getting your arms and head in there too.
I even want to see it in your face – listen to the song and show me how your face can expression that vibe!
You can ONLY get it right – how can you shake that butt??
Second move: walk- add 123 when you want. Now connect to the beat and walk – 1,2-1,2. Lower your center of gravity a bit. And whenever you want add a 123 to your walk to get that dancehall vibe going. As you walk, use your arms and hands. I want you to tell a story with your hands with attitude and confidence.
