Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: Yes, the walk-6-bounce-2
Focus: External
Purpose: To increase heart rate

Pre-Teach: Before the music starts, have them try out this combo with you; walk 6, then stay on the spot and bounce for two counts.
’Walk-2-3-4-5-6-bounce-bounce’. Try it a few times and coach them on making the body dance on the bounce. You can also let them know that they can do a light hop instead of the bounce.

First move: Walk-6-bounce-2. There’s a short intro before the move starts, so use the time to describe the song using the style words. Connect them to the combo, keep counting the walk & bounce until every one is successfully connected.
Then have everyone travel in different directions, inspire them to try turning as they walk and bounce as well. Add style words for a deeper connection to the song.

Second move: Knee drop. Tell them to hold the spot, feet wide and knees soft. Then drop one knee at a time, relaxing the body into in.
Inspire them to get the whole body dancing as they knee drop, and give the option of traveling too. Let the upper body relax and dance. How can you dance your knee drop?

Third move: 123-123. Once they are connected to the rhythm, set them free and allow for full use of space with high energy.
Use your voice, style words and demonstration to get them into the uplifting, highly delicious energy that this song & groove brings. Inspire singing, turns, arms and head moving – full expression!
Lots of groove truths if they need it.
Fourth move: Pause. Simply tell them with a soft voice to stay OTS wherever they are. They can close their eyes if they want to, and just notice their breath and heart beat. Allow stillness to listen to the music.
