Pre-Teach: No, however – If you have brand new groovers, it might be good to pre-teach the rhythm pattern.
Focus: External
Purpose: To warm up or cool down the body, playing with slow syncopated rhythm
First move:Is moving poses. Dramatic poses, lift the chin, lift the chest. Guide your participants so they keep changing their poses.
Slowly, dramatically, passionately. Inspire them to use levels, walls, chairs, pillars.
Second move: Is a quick-quick-slow. Connect them to the rhythm. Once they get it, have them add expressive, dramatic, passionate
and elegant arm movements on the slow.
Inspire them to use the space creatively, and give lots of style words for a deep connection to the song. Also tell them to listen to the
song and let it inspire how they dance it.
