Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No
Focus: Internal
Purpose: To arrive into class, connect with their breath and bodies before beginning to dance.

The purpose of the arrival song is give participants the opportunity to first connect with their breath and bodies before beginning to dance.
This 1-2 minute practice should be delivered very simply by saying “relax your body, feel free to bring your gaze down to the ground or close your eyes and just allow your breath to flow naturally.
Spend the next minute or so connecting with your breath, observing it and observing how your body feels. If you feel inspired to sway or add gentle movement, go for it.”
You can also remind your participants that they can’t get anything wrong in this class and we want to encourage you to allow yourself to dance authentically, be creative and nurture your body.
