Purpose: To warm up the body and start increasing heart rate
This is a great walk and wiggle!
First move: walk. Listen to the beat and put the rhythm in your feet – 1-2-1-2. Take your funky walk and explore the room. Now show me how you dance your walk with funk, confidence and lots of attitude! That means adding your arms, your head and your face as you dance. You can’t get it wrong – get your whole body in it and dance it!
Don’t forget to go backwards and sideways as you dance – and what about turning as you dance?
Put a cool look on your face and tell a story with your hands.
How can you make your head move?
What does funky look like when you dance it?
What happens if you explore your levels as you dance?
Have you tried moving your hips yet? Your chest? Your knees? Only you know what’s possible in your body – how can you dance it?
Second move: poses. Strike a pose! Change your pose! Keep changing poses to the beat. Use your arms. Stick things out. Use your levels. Your way is the right way! Move your hips. Move your upper body. Get your head in it. Get your face in it. Dance your poses!
Try to pose with the groovers next to you – have a party in your body as you dance your poses.
Third move: wiggle. Plant your feet, bend your knees and wiggle your butt! Relax into it, let your hips swing side to side and don’t forget to add your head! How can you make your head dance? Can your arms dance? What about your chest? Your shoulders?
Try to bring it a bit lower and see what that feels like – you want this to feel goooooood in your body!
Sing it if you know it!
Dance it with funk, attitude and personality – you can ONLY get it right, I promise!
Make your whole body dance the wiggle. Can you wiggle with a partner?
At the end of the song you can switch back and forth the walking and the wiggle if you need to keep them engaged.
But it works great with just the dance walk to the end. You can introduce some simple interactions like high 5s or funky walk with a friend.

Primer movimiento: Paseo de baile. Haz que se conecten al ritmo y luego haz que la caminata sea lo más divertida posible. Caminata Funky 1-2, 1-2 alrededor de la habitación.

Segundo movimiento: Poses Disco: al 0:52 vamos a hacer 8 poses, diferentes cada vez – avisa antes con: y 1, y 2 etc.
Tercer movimiento: OTS Muévete o baila. 1:01 mételos directamente en el wiggle o baila OTS
Realmente ponlos en el estilo de la música, tu cabeza también está bailando. Relájate de verdad, deja que tu cuerpo baile, muévete. juega con él, diviértete mucho.
Puedes sugerir bajar más y al final del estribillo, va con la canción. Puedes alternar la caminata y el contoneo al final de la canción, si necesitas mantenerlos ocupados.
Pero funciona muy bien con solo la caminata de baile hasta el final. Puedes introducir algunas interacciones simples como chocar los 5 o caminar con un amigo.
Incluso podrías moverte con una persona a tu lado, si está abierta para eso.
¡Un clásico funky que hace bailar a la mayoría de la gente de inmediato! Es moderno, enérgico, divertido y Groovy.
