Walk, add 123 when you want / Circle a body part
soft, smooth, relaxed
Adult Facilitator
Pre-Teach: No
Focus: External on the TP, internal OTS.
Purpose: To warm up the body and to lubricate the joints through circular movements.
A great track for warming up the body. Style words are soft, smooth, relaxed and it has an undertone of sexy too, but it’s something you can choose to leave out if you want.
First move: Walk. Connect them to the beat, and tell your participants to keep it soft and relaxed.
When they are connected and united, give them the option of adding the 123 whenever they want. Have them play with the rhythm pattern, exploring the space and levels as they dance.
As they dance, invite arms, head and upper body as well, to get the whole body dancing.
Second move: Circle a body part. OTS, tell them to pick a body-part and circle it. Give them options: Head, shoulders, hips, rib cage and so on.
The transitions are very clear and the OTS move is connected to the chorus where they sing ‘mmm’ – so use this, tell them to listen to the song and see how good they can make it feel. As if they are massaging their body with their movements. This is the part of the song where you can tell them to be sexy and flirty as they roll body parts.
Great to add this if you are doing a lady’s night or feminine Groove theme.
