Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No
Focus: External
Purpose: To warm up the body and lubricate hips

First move: Poses. You strike a pose for every clear accent. Throughout the song you’ll hear the breaks, have your participants pose with style, playfulness and confidence. You can even use your levels. Make it sassy. Invite them to sing along on the ’huh!’ that comes right after the posing, fun and playful.

Second move: 123-123. Connect them to the rhythm 123-123, 123-123, and invite them to explore the space using all the different directions and adding turning to their dance. Lots of confidence and style. Use your arms and get your whole body dancing to this rhythm 123-123.

Invite them into the latin style by allowing shoulders and hips to move softly as they dance the 123. It helps to bend the knees so the hips will move. Use the style words and groove truths to inspire them and get them dancing it with full expression. You can even use the walls or articles in the room to dance with and around. You can make it a little sassy and flirty too. Show me what you got!
