Pre-Teach: No
Focus: Internal
Purpose: To warm up or cool down the body and connect with yourself.
First move: Stretch-Hug. Start by gently rolling your shoulders. Relax and allow more of your body gently move. Now, reach your arms into a lovely, yummy stretch. Then gently bring your arms in to give yourself a hug. Stretch into another shape and let those arms gently lower into a hug. Deepen your breath as you do another one. Again. Keep repeating this on your own. Trying different shapes. Dancing it and letting it flow. Let your knees be soft. You can try a different direction. Big stretch with a hug.
Second move: 1-2-3-Tap. You’re going to hear a little beat start. 1-2-3-Tap. 1-2-3-Soft Tap. Start to travel it. Tap in different places. Add some soft arms. Keep your body relaxed. Put your own style in it. Try backwards. Just let your body softly dance. Explore turns. Keep letting your arms stretch open and float. You might even reach and add that hug, like we did earlier. You really can’t get it wrong. See where you can go.
