Purpose: To warm up the body and mobilize spine and rib-cage

First move: Reach. Start to reach to the sides: reach-reach. Elongate your spine and warm up your body as you reach. It’s soft and light and gentle. Make it feel good to do the reach. Can you reach in other directions? Forwards, behind you, towards the sky.
Dance your reaches and add your breath. Can you use your levels? Relax into it and allow your whole body to dance it. Do it your way.
Let one reach flow into the next. How can you dance it? Do it your way.
Second move: Light dance walk. Put the beat in your feet and walk: walk, walk. But whenever you feel like it – add a 123 to your walk.
This song calls for lots of turning, so add that to your dance in your own unique way, can’t get it wrong! Can you travel somewhere new in the room? Light, happy, care free. What can you do to make the dance feel good in your body? Can you add your arms? Your head? A smile maybe? Listen to the song and let it inspire how you dance it. You can only get it right! Make it feel good and enjoy it.
Third move: Sway. Now let your arms relax down by your sides and and just softly sway side to side. You can close your eyes if that feels good. Or put your hands on your heart.
