Pre-Teach: make sure to spread out and explain never to punch friends and to be aware of space so we don’t accidentally do it
Focus: External
Purpose: to build strength and stamina with martial arts
First move: We are getting ready for some martial arts! Shake your arms and get ready to start punching! Punches, switch arms get used to the feel. Now where else can you puch… to the sky? Low? Across your body? Great work now shake again and get ready for more power!
Second move: March and get your knees up high, balance, now lets practice kicking! Show me all the different ways you can kick. Watch our for your friends. We want to stay safe and avoid any accidents! I saw a side kick and there is one to the back, great work. You are all so strong!
Third move: Break and shake it out! Now it is time for our final rounds where I want to see your best moves!
Fourth move: Punches and kicks, let students create and play with making up different combinations and offer some suggestions if needed!
