Coaching Notes:

This tango track is great to do with older kids.
Setting up the song, you want to introduce the essence of tango. I like to say, legs together, chin up slightly, shoulders back.

Start by connecting your participants to a slow walk, taking big steps. Introduce direction changes: sideways, backwards etc.
On the spot, introduce arm movements which should look dramatic. Open and close the arms, very dramatically.
Add the arm movements to the walks. Coach direction changes.

Then introduce poses. Poses should be dramatic. Call out high middle and low as options, remind them to not copy each other.

Introduce a simple rhythm (I like to clap it first). Slow, slow, quick, quick, slow.
Once they get it, tell them to put it in their feet: Slow, slow, quick, quick, slow. Add the arms. Maybe try turning on the quicks.

If you still have time, get them to try it with the person beside them or with a friend.
