Purpose: To warm up or cool down the body
First move: Snap. You hear that snapping sound? Start snapping with the music, and as you snap start to travel the room. This song is cute, soft, flirty and a little naughty – so give yourself permission to play with that expression in your dance.
Every time you snap, try to snap in a new place – like you’re decorating the space around you with your snaps. There’s above you, below you, behind you, to the sides.
Have you tried looking at your hands every time you snap in a new place?
You can travel backwards and sideways and turn as you dance your snap through the room.
How can you get your whole body dancing?
What would it feel like to be flirty in your dance? How could you invite that energy into your movement? I promise you – your way is the right way.
Allow yourself to dance and express this in YOUR unique way.
Can you get your chest and spine involved?
Can you add your hips to your dance?
How can your shoulders move with it?
Listen to the song and let it inspire how you dance it.
Second move: Pose. Strike a pose! Explore a new pose every time. You can use levels. You can be sexy and flirty – pose it with your style and personality.
Third move: 12-123. Put the beat in your feet: 12-123. Soften your body and let your hips and shoulders move as you travel. If you bend your knees slightly you’ll make more room for your hips to move.
How can you travel the room with the 12-123? How can you explore the different directions?
It’s cute, flirty and sweet.
Can you turn as you travel?
What would it feel like to look over your shoulder once in a while?
Maybe you can wink or smile at someone as you pass them.
Where can you take the 12-123? Can you use your levels in your dance?
What does sexy and flirty look like when you dance it? You don’t know unless you try it out – give yourself permission to play.
Can you add your arms? Maybe your hands even?
Can your chest dance too?
I wanna see how YOU dance it – your unique dance. And make it feel good.
Fourth move: Butt dance OTS. Stay on the spot, open your legs a little wider and bend them slightly. Now make your booty dance! You can play with circles, side to side movements, little pumps.
Listen to the song and let it inspire how you dance.
How can you move your booty?
Can you make the rest of your body dance as well? What about your chest, arms and shoulders?
And what would it feel like if you allowed yourself to be a little sexy and naughty with your movements?
