Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: Yes
Focus: external
Purpose: To work on cardio, joint mobility, and coordination
This song is a little long so cut it around 3 minutes for the kids.
There are a couple of advanced movements. Pre teach these.
Pre-Teach: Monkey arms with a pony. You can start with just the monkey arms. If they can’t get the pony, just get them to step together.
First move: Monkey Arms. Show me some funky monkey arms. Let your body relax. Let the arms be free. Take these around your space, moving in ways that make you feel good. Use different directions. Backwards. Sideways. Turn. As you pass someone, give them a goofy face. On the second round, add a pony.
Second move: Twist. You can try one foot at a time or try both. Feel free to do whatever you want with your arms.
I dare you to twist with the person beside you. I dare you to get low. Be super goofy with your friends.
Transitions:
In this song, you don’t have to transition at any particular time. You can switch whenever.
