Purpose: To warm up the body and mobilize hips and lower back
A nice and smooth top 40 track that makes your booty wiggle. Song has three different moves and follows a verse-chorus structure.
There’s a 10 second intro before you start the first TP.
First move is 1-2-3-tap out. It’s funky, happy, flirty and confident. Remember not to tell people to be happy, but instead have them try on a smile as they dance to see how that feels.
As they travel the room and play with levels, turns and directions, encourage them to play with the tap out, so they tap out in different directions.
Coach for arms and head moving to the music as well.
Second move is a step-tap-out building up to the chorus. You stay in the same funky, groovy and confident style, and coach for playing with the tap out in different directions.
Have them playing with adding bounce to the move to get the funky flavor in there. Remember to coach for the head moving which gives it that funky feel as well.
Third move is the wiggle-front-front-back-back, and is the only move that you may want to pre-teach in some groups of people.
Tell them to stay on the spot, legs apart, and soften their knees and hips. Wiggle front twice, then push your hips back and wiggle twice here, back and forth.
Once they get the move, tell them to have fun with it, and not worry about if it’s front and back at the right time.
Coach for whole body dancing, and play with how far they can stick out their hips front and back as they wiggle.
Second time around you can invite the option of changing directions every time you change you push your hips front or back.
You can also invite people to wiggle together as they move around.
