Pre-Teach: Yes (Arm up – up, then the arms come down on the 123)

Purpose: To cool down the body

Pre-Teach: Let’s learn this move together. We are going to go lift 1 arm up, then the other, then a 123 in the feet, let your arms come down. Let’s do it again. Arm, arm, 123, again, arm, arm, 123. Remember this for later.

First Move: Sway. Sway, softly shifting your body from side to side. Becoming inspired by the tune of the music. Bringing your awareness back to your breath. Gentle and soft. Even your face is soft. Stay light and relaxed, super gentle with yourself. Let the music inspire how you move gentle and soft. Can you let your arms express soft and creatively as you sway, let your body dance it your way.

Second Move: Arm, arm, 123 – Now arm, arm, 123, arm, arm, 123. Put a little drama and expression into your arms. Keep it gentle but expressive. Feel the “I wanna lift you up”. Add your essence and style, you can’t get it wrong, just do it your way. Can you explore your directions, maybe even add a turn on the 123, you don’t know until you try. Try and do it a little different each time, add some passion and expression. Travel and move through the room, let yourself take up space.

Third move: Snap. A soft gentle expressive snap, take your time, dance that snap around the body in a gentle way. Snapping in a new place around your body each time. Can you explore your levels, the space above you, below you and even behind you.? Dance with your whole body as you snap, putting your style and essence into it. Do it your way. Give yourself permission to dance it!
