Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: Yes
Focus: Internal
Purpose: To explore the meditative flow in only dancing quicks and slows for a whole song

Pre-teach: Demonstrate and then have them practice the ‘Slow-Slow-Quick-Quick-Slow’ and the ‘Quick-Quick-Slow’ moves so that
they can practice the rhythm.

First move: is a Slow-Slow-Quick-Quick-Slow – Connect them to the rhythm and keep cueing on the beat until everyone is successful
in the pattern.
Ask them to be soft, gentle and flowing with lots of arms and expression.
Give them Groove Truths to remind them that they can’t get it wrong and when they don’t look like anyone in the room, they are
doing it right.
Coach for dancing it with their whole body and exploring how to turn, playing with all the different directions and levels. Invite them
to explore how soft and elegantly their bodies can move.

Second move: is a Quick-Quick-Slow – Once everyone is connected to the rhythm, have them travel and explore the room. Inspire full
body dancing by coaching for how the arms, head, shoulders, hips and so on can move with it.
Keep using style words and Groove Truths to keep them connected and empowered to show their own full expression.
