Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No Focus: external Purpose: To improve balance and flow

First move: Ballet shapes. On the spot, create your own elegant ballet dance. On your tippy toes. You can play with your balance. You can travel it. Let your head get involved. Chest is lifted. Beautiful, elegant arms. Over the top. Let the music inspire your ballet dancing. Just try different things. You can’t get it wrong.

Second move: Slow-quick-quick. Drama. A tango feel. Chest up. Shoulders back. Chin up. Sophisticated. Try directions. Try turning. Lots of drama with your arms. Deep breath.

Third move: pause. Just have them hold on the pauses. If they miss it, it’s not a big deal. It adds to the song when they can hit them. It’s just a brief pause.
