Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: Yes Focus: External Purpose: Strength, Connection, Creativity

First move: Slice. On the spot ask your students to connect to the slice sound in the music. It’s a sharp cut. Get them to first start on the spot and explore all the space around their body using different levels. Then ask them to travel this movement. You want to encourage them to get low with the movement and add an element of mystery.

Second move: Slide, back and replace (capoeira basic). At any point in the song, connect them to this second move. First on the spot to get used to connecting to the rhythm. Then invite traveling around the space and interactions.

Transitions: There’s no specific time to go back and forth in this song. Move between moves as you see fit.
