Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No
Focus: External
Purpose: Exploring different winter snow activities
First move: Snow angels. Start the music and introduce the idea of doing lots of fun activities in the snow! Lay down on the snow and make snow angels! Get up gently to not destroy the shape of the angel. Admire all the beautiful snow angels you all created!

Second move: Catching snow on tongue. “It’s snowing! Walk around and catch the snow on your tongue and with your open palms! Can you catch all the snow crystals?”

Third move: Throwing snowballs. Next activity is making snowballs and throw them at each other! Pretend it’s a snowball fight, and you need to avoid getting hit!

Fourth move: Skiing. Pretend you are skiing! You can choose cross-country skiing or slalom downhill. Maybe try to go downhill and jump!

Fifth move: Dance around Christmas tree. Create a circle with the kids and tell them we’re pretending there is a Christmas tree in the middle. Look at the beautiful ornaments and the shining start on top! Then dance around the tree with some kind of skipping move.

Sixth move: Ice skating. Pretend you have ice skates on a sail across the slippery ice! Do some cool balancing or turning!
