Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: Yes
Focus: External
Purpose: To increase heart rate and explore imagination through movement.

Pre-teach: The little combo – have them do it with you! Legs apart, Elvis style, knee-knee-flick-flick. Lots of attitude, like Elvis. And then there’s crazy legs.

Set them up in an Elvis pose, as cool as it can be, before you start the song.

First Move: OTS knee-knee-flick-flick. Song starts right away with this. Lots of attitude and personality. Get your whole body involved. Show me your coolest Elvis impersonation.

Second Move: Crazy legs. You’ll hear that in the music – crazy legs.

Third Move: Jump-kick. If the jump-kick is too much for people, a step-kick works just as well. Kick it, all around, get your arms/hands kicking as well. It doesn’t matter if they kick on the up or down beat, just let them go with it and have lots of fun! Let the music inspire you. Travel through your space – where can you go? Put some energy into it.
