Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No
Focus: External
Purpose: To create friendly, open interactions with one another.

First move: Open 4-Walk 4. Put a big smile on your face, with a jazzy, peppy step and open the arms and dance for “It’s a good day”, then go somewhere new. Show me “it’s a good day”, go somewhere new. Maybe open up “it’s a good day” with someone. Dance it your way and show off your style! Open those arms and put a big friendly smile on your face. Can you add your personality in it? Explore your directions. Try going a different way. Try doing it differently each time. Find a new friend each time and show them your style. No one cares what it looks like. Show me lots of pep and pizazz.

Second move: Walk. Now put the beat in your feet and a pep in your step. Show me your jazziest, swankiest little dance walk. Dance and travel around each other. Big cheesy smile. As you travel, can you use your arms? Maybe add some jazz hands. Show me some peppy, swanky movements. Dance it the way you feel like dancing it. No right or wrong, just your way. Play with directions. Have you gone backwards yet? You could also try to turn it. Get your whole body dancing your peppy walk.
