Purpose: To warm up and come into your body.

First move: Circulation – Let’s start OTS, pause, come into your breath and your body, maybe a gentle sway. Relax and soften your body, Start to gentle move and circulate the hands, wrists, arms. maybe even your head. Add your expression and dance it your way. Make it soft and fluid. Take a few moments to come into your body. Infuse it with your breath. Can you make it feel really good in your body? You can’t get it wrong, do it how it feels good to you. Explore rolling and dancing gentle different parts of your body. Let the music inspire how you move. Your way is the right way.

Second move: Step-Accent – Now listen for the accent in the music, when you hear it make a beautiful expressive arm accent to the music. Listen for the accent. Now we step then accent. Can you make the accent different each time? Make it flow, soft and gentle. Explore your levels and use all of your body on the arm accent. Add your expression and style. Really let yourself dance it your way. (You have the option to just keep with the step and accent or you can evolve to the next move – step step accent, either way is fine. What feels best for you and your participants). Let one accent flow right into the next accent. Let your whole body express it.

Third move: Step-Step-Accent (Optional) – Now step step accent. beautiful! Keep your steps small. Step step accent. Show me your expression and creativity. Create different shapes with your body on the accents. Can you explore different levels with your accent? Get your whole body into those accents. Do it your way. Just let yourself dance it.
