Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: no
Focus: external
Purpose: To warm up the body, play with rhythm

First move: Start them out with the rhythm in their feet. 1-2-123, it’s a rock song so use style works to enhance that feeling.
“Rock out!”, Use your arms”, can you bring this rhythm somewhere else in your body?” Ask them to put energy into it, peppy, etc.

Second move: When the chorus hits bring them into the next move which is a rock out with the hips, arms, and the whole body in a 123 rhythm (or anything that feels really good).
Bending the knees to allow lots of movement in the hips. Let your head and hair dance, let your arms go wild. “DANCE it!”.
You can even have them imagine they’re having a tantrum for candy, haha!

Switching back and forth from the travel patters to OTS as it’s a verse chorus.

Transitions:
0:00 1-2-123
0:48 rock out hips and arms
1:06 1-2-123
