Purpose: To build a strong connection to yourself and express power.
First move: 1-2-123 stomps. The whole song is the same rhythm, except for when the poses come in. It’s pretty much stomping with lots of power behind those stomps in a 1-2-123 rhythm.
Let your whole body express this powerful and meaningful song. Express how the music makes you want to express it with your whole upper body while you stay in the 1-2-123 stomp rhythm.
Also great to pay attention to the lyrics, helps to express your movements.
Get your participants to sing along. I am woman, hear me roar, even singing it with somebody.
You can also connect them closer as a group to bring more energy and power together and then let them go off again on their own. Play with it.
Second move:Poses, powerful. This poses need to be so powerful, strong, meaningful. Make sure that’s embodied by you and your participants
Face another direction with each pose.
