*Don’t get too serious about when to change on this song, both moves work anywhere. I like to do the twisting on the parts where she is singing “Wag your Tail”!
This is a simple structure song with A LOT of opportunity to enhance creative movement!
First move: twist – Begin this twist OTS and explore all the possible ways you can twist.
Changing directions, levels, using different body parts, etc. The song says “Wag Your Tail” a lot so use this as a cue for their twist.
Stick the butt back, this really gives great movement to the lower back! Try one foot as well. You can also invite traveling the twist if you want.
Second move: step-kick – There is a distinct kick sound in the music. Be sure you invite adding arms, doing a little flick with the hands like they have water on their fingers and they are shaking it off.
Be sure to explore kicks in all directions and I LOVE to keep them OTS once or twice while kicking to have them really lean with it, move around to face new walls and find new places to kick their foot.
